Initially launched as an audio series approximately five years ago, The Small Bow originated from Daulerio's personal experiences with substance abuse recovery, stemming from his newsletter of the same name. The podcast has consistently aimed to deepen conversations surrounding recovery and mental health.

Daulerio highlighted the expansion of these critical discussions, allowing guests to share intimate details of their journeys. He expressed gratitude for the support from AND Media and Rabbit Grin Productions, signaling a new phase for the show and its growing community.

Collaborators Rob Holysz and Jeph Porter of Rabbit Grin Productions voiced their enthusiasm for amplifying The Small Bow's unique perspective on recovery to a wider audience. They emphasized the importance of these conversations and Daulerio's skill in making them relatable and authentic.
