The Salina Art Center is actively seeking submissions from artists for its upcoming pop-up exhibition, "Power of Small." This unique exhibition is scheduled to run from July 29 through September 27. The core concept behind "Power of Small" is to highlight the profound impact that art created on an intimate scale can achieve.
Artists are encouraged to submit their work, with a limit of three pieces per artist, provided each artwork is smaller than 5 by 7 inches. A wide array of media, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media, are welcome as long as they meet the size constraints. All submissions must be made online by July 3, and artists will be informed of their acceptance by July 10.
Selected artworks must be delivered to the Art Center by 5 p.m. on July 22, ready for exhibition. The Art Center will insure the pieces under its fine art policy. However, artists are responsible for all delivery and return shipping costs. The exhibition will officially open on July 29, with a reception planned for August 7 from 5-7 p.m. All displayed artwork must be picked up by October 11.
