- Features unique, melancholic sound unlike Slipknot's harshness.

A mysterious musical project by Slipknot members, "Look Outside Your Window," is set to be released nearly 20 years after its initial creation. The album, featuring Slipknot's M. Shawn Crahan, Corey Taylor, Jim Root, and Sid Wilson, originated during the recording sessions for Slipknot's 2008 album, "All Hope Is Gone."
The 10 tracks on "Look Outside Your Window" diverge significantly from Slipknot's typical heavy sound, embracing a more melancholic and brooding atmosphere. Influences from bands like Radiohead are noted, creating a unique sonic landscape.
This special vinyl-only release is scheduled for April 18, coinciding with Record Store Day. The project allowed the musicians to experiment freely, unburdened by Slipknot's expectations, resulting in deeply personal and introspective music.
