Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash's 23-year-old son, London Emilio Hudson, is making his mark in the music industry as a drummer. London, who also played guitar and bass growing up, chose the drums to forge his own identity and avoid direct comparison with his iconic father. He expressed a desire to "do my own thing" rather than compete with his father's guitar skills.
London's musical journey began at age 15 when he co-founded the band Classless Act. He later joined Suspect208 with sons of other famous musicians. Currently, he is the drummer for the American rock band Return to Dust, formed in 2022 in Los Angeles. The band is presently on tour, supporting Theory of a Deadman.
Slash has expressed pride and amazement at his son's performances, calling the experience "surreal." He noted that the music industry has changed significantly, and he offers encouragement to his independent son, learning from London's experiences as well.
