Skarsgård Sizzles in Leather at London Film Fest Premiere

Just last month, on October 18, 2025, Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård, 49, made a striking appearance at the BFI London Film Festival premiere of his latest film, 'Pillion'. Skarsgård, known for his roles in hit shows like 'Big Little Lies', turned heads on the red carpet with his edgy yet stylish ensemble.

The actor opted for a sleeveless, halter-style button-down that flaunted his toned biceps, paired with a set of fitted leather pants. Skarsgård completed the look with a matching leather tie, exuding an undeniable air of confidence and sex appeal.

In 'Pillion', Skarsgård takes on the role of Ray, the leader of a motorcycle gang, in a film that explores a same-sex and dominant-submissive relationship between two of the gang's members. The actor revealed that he was immediately drawn to the script, finding the story to be "so original" and the world he was invited into with "so much love and compassion."

Skarsgård, who has previously worked with intimacy coordinators on projects like 'Big Little Lies', shared that the process for 'Pillion' was a bit different. He and co-star Harry Melling, 36, were "excited about just literally throwing themselves into that ring," determined to portray the intimate scenes in an authentic yet respectful manner.

Director Harry Lighton's approach to the film's more intimate moments has also earned Skarsgård's praise. The actor noted that Lighton "embraced the awkwardness of it" and ensured the sex scenes were not "graphic for the sake of being graphic," but rather served the story and characters.
