He stated that he avoids these scenes unless they are critical to the narrative, emphasizing that he does not want to restrict directors' creative choices. His personal discomfort with smoke, stemming from an allergy, influences this decision. For scenes requiring the portrayal of drinking, Sivakarthikeyan opts for jeera water, a practice he has consistently followed throughout his career.

Currently, Sivakarthikeyan is engaged in the shooting of his forthcoming Tamil film, 'Seyon'. The movie, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, is being filmed in Madurai and is anticipated for release next year. The actor expressed enthusiasm for the project, mentioning his desire to arrange special screenings for families upon its debut.
