Despite being offered a massive compensation by Shah Rukh Khan's production house, Kumar refused to accept the money. He explained that his decision was driven by the profound inspiration he has drawn from SRK throughout his career. Kumar shared that every time he faced rejections, he would go outside Mannat, SRK's residence, and cry his heart out, as he saw the actor as a guiding force.
The playback singer, who has lent his voice to SRK's song 'Ishaqbaazi' from the film 'Zero', further emphasized the actor's impact on his journey. He stated that it was SRK who made him, and the energy he derives from the superstar is akin to a divine guidance that has helped him move forward.
