Memory-Bending Play: 'Silvatein' Keeps Audiences Guessing

Silvatein: The Wrinkles in Time presents a captivating blend of relationship drama and mystery, keeping audiences engaged with its intricate narrative. The play centers on a couple whose memories and unanswered questions blur the lines between their past and present, creating a suspenseful atmosphere.

Ujani Ghosh and Sagnik Sinha star as Rupali and Arijit Mallik, respectively. Ghosh imbues Rupali with nuanced emotion, while Sinha convincingly portrays Arijit's internal conflict. Their performances are crucial in navigating the play's emotional highs and tense moments.

The production skillfully explores themes of the labor of homemakers and the significance of intellectual compatibility in relationships. However, the play's brisk pacing, while building suspense, can occasionally make its narrative twists challenging to follow. The open-ended conclusion invites audience interpretation, leaving many with lingering questions.
