Siddhu Jonnalagadda is reportedly set to star in a new web series for Netflix, marking his return to the OTT platform. The project, currently in its pre-production phase, is backed by Sithara Entertainments, the same banner that produced his popular Tillu franchise.
Reports indicate that Meenakshi Chaudhary has been finalized as the female lead for the series. This collaboration marks Jonnalagadda's second foray into the digital space after his 2018 appearance in 'Gangstars'.
Meanwhile, some of Jonnalagadda's upcoming film projects, including 'Kohinoor' and 'Badass', are understood to have been postponed. The actor is also said to be developing another project with director Swaroop RSJ, continuing his association with Sithara Entertainments.
Jonnalagadda was last seen in the romantic drama 'Telusu Kada', which had an underwhelming box office performance. Director Venky Atluri, associated with this new series, previously helmed 'Lucky Baskhar' (2024) and is currently working on 'Vishwanath & Sons'.
