M. Night Shyamalan has announced that his upcoming psychological thriller, Remain, has achieved the highest test scores of his career. This assertion is notable given his filmography, which includes acclaimed works like The Sixth Sense and Split. The film features Jake Gyllenhaal as Tate Donovan, an architect dealing with depression who moves to Cape Cod. There, he encounters Wren, a mysterious woman played by Phoebe Dynevor.

Remain is distinguished by its co-creation with author Nicholas Sparks, known for The Notebook.
