Shruti Haasan's Heartbreaking Goodbye to Kitten

Shruti Haasan has revealed the painful reason behind her recent need for quiet time: the adoption and subsequent rehoming of her Persian kitten, Aslan. She adopted the kitten three months prior, but within two days, Haasan began experiencing severe allergic reactions. Initially suspecting dietary issues, she soon realized Aslan's saliva and fur were the cause, manifesting as painful rashes and boils.

Despite trying numerous remedies, including trimming the kitten's hair, using air purifiers, and medication, Haasan's allergies persisted and worsened. These reactions began impacting her work, skin, and overall well-being. The situation became untenable when her allergies flared up even more severely after a trip from Chennai to Mumbai.

Haasan has since made the difficult decision to rehome Aslan. She expressed deep heartbreak and guilt over having to separate from the kitten, who she described as sweet and playful. She is now working with friends and Aslan's former foster mother to find him a loving new home, emphasizing that this was a consequence of her allergies, not a reflection on Aslan.
