Actor Shivaleeka Oberoi and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak have announced the name of their newborn daughter, Aarika Pathak, exactly one month after her birth on April 19, 2026. The couple shared this news via a joint Instagram post, offering their first glimpse of their baby.
They explained that their daughter was born on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, a date they feel was divinely planned. The name Aarika, they elaborated, carries the presence of Goddess Lakshmi and signifies prosperity, grace, divine beauty, and abundance.
The couple, who first met in 2020 during the production of the film Khuda Haafiz, became engaged in July 2022. They exchanged wedding vows in a private ceremony held in Goa in February 2023, with close friends and family in attendance.
Abhishek Pathak is currently involved in the production of Drishyam 3, slated for release on October 2, 2026. Shivaleeka Oberoi, who began her career as an assistant director, made her acting debut in Yeh Saali Aashiqui.
