Shia LaBeouf recently visited Vatican City, the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, alongside his father, Jeffrey. The outing was in preparation for Jeffrey's baptism, with Shia seen excitedly taking in the ornate artwork. This trip followed a complex legal situation for the actor.

LaBeouf had traveled to Italy for his father's baptism after a New Orleans judge approved his travel request. This approval came after an initial denial for his planned trip between March 1 and March 8, following a battery arrest in February.

Despite his apparent enjoyment at the Vatican, LaBeouf's time in Italy was not without controversy. He was observed in Rome in his underwear appearing frustrated, and later exhibited agitated behavior at a cafe, telling a woman to "F*** off." He was also heard yelling in the street.

Upon returning to New Orleans, LaBeouf was involved in another incident with police at his home, where he urged officers to check security cameras, claiming he was a "target." However, the recent drama in Italy did not seem to overshadow his father-son excursion to the Vatican.
