Shia LaBeouf Faces New Battery Warrant
28 Feb
Summary
- A new warrant was issued for actor Shia LaBeouf.
- The warrant is for alleged battery during Mardi Gras.
- He faces mandatory rehab and drug testing orders.

Actor Shia LaBeouf has had a new warrant issued for his arrest in connection with an alleged battery incident that occurred during Mardi Gras celebrations. This development comes shortly after his previous detainment on February 17th for simple battery charges following a fight outside a New Orleans bar.
During his initial arrest, LaBeouf reportedly used homophobic slurs. As a consequence, a judge mandated a $100,000 bond, ordered him to mandatory rehabilitation, and required participation in a drug-testing program. His request to travel internationally for his father's baptism was also denied.
LaBeouf is scheduled to appear in court again on March 19th. Neither his legal representatives nor the New Orleans Police Department have released official statements regarding the latest warrant.
