Shekhar Suman: Depth Over Noise in New Talk Show

Veteran actor and host Shekhar Suman has introduced his new talk show, 'Shekhar Tonite,' with a clear emphasis on "depth over noise" and "honesty over deceit." Suman stated that the show prioritizes genuine conversations and authentic sentiments, contrasting it with the "crass sensationalism" he believes has infiltrated modern talk shows.

Suman aims to feature individuals with compelling life journeys, including artists, athletes, and scientists, mentioning potential guests like A. R. Rahman and Deepika Padukone. He rejects the notion of constant visibility in acting, asserting that saying "no" protects his "yes" to impactful roles. He also addressed and dismissed persistent rumors linking him to Bigg Boss, clarifying that his identity as an actor and conversationalist does not align with the reality competition format. Suman expressed a preference for creating a space where vulnerability is chosen, not forced.
