Shekhar Suman Cancels Finale After Nana Patekar's Death

Shekhar Suman has announced the cancellation of the season finale for his show, 'Shekhar Tonite,' due to the recent passing of Nana Patekar. Patekar had been scheduled to be the final guest for the season. Suman shared his decision via a video on his YouTube channel, expressing that Patekar is irreplaceable.

Suman recounted a recent phone conversation with Patekar, where the veteran actor had praised 'Shekhar Tonite' and mentioned his intention to appear on the show, despite other offers. Patekar had also recalled their association from the unreleased 1990 film 'Tadap.'

Reflecting on Patekar's untimely demise, Suman stated that he could not fathom inviting another guest to fill the intended spot. He expressed a deep sense of regret over the unreleased film and the now-unrealized episode. Suman plans to conclude the first season of his show by honoring Patekar's memory and their planned discussion.
