This philosophy comes as her new film, 'Ishqnama,' is set to release.

'Ishqnama' is a period romantic drama inspired by the true story of soulmates Nimma and Nasima, set between 1981 and 1988 along the India-Pakistan border. The film delves into themes of love, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of the human spirit, transcending borders and political agendas. Directed by Arvvindr S. Khaira, the movie features Jai and Shehnaaz Gill, with music by B Praak and lyrics by Jaani. It is slated for a worldwide release on July 24, across India, Canada, and the UK.
