Parag Tyagi, the husband of the late television personality Shefali Jariwala, has publicly addressed and debunked several rumors circulating about his wife's death. He vehemently denied speculation that Jariwala was undergoing anti-aging treatments or engaging in extreme fasting practices prior to her passing.
Tyagi clarified that the couple maintained a normal diet, even sharing Chinese food the night before Jariwala's death. He emphasized her excellent physical condition at the time and questioned the existence of any injections that could perpetually maintain youth, humorously noting that prominent figures like Ratan Tata would still be alive if such a thing were possible.
He also dismissed rumors of skin-lightening or glutathione injections, questioning the necessity for her to alter her appearance. Tyagi attributed the spread of such misinformation to "WhatsApp University," lamenting that unverified negative content is easily consumed and disseminated.
Shefali Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital on June 27 last year, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Although an initial speculation pointed towards cardiac arrest, the Mumbai Police conducted a post-mortem examination. However, officials stated that the cause of death remained "reserved" and unconfirmed at the time of reporting. Jariwala is fondly remembered for her debut song 'Kaanta Laga' and her appearance on Bigg Boss 13.
