Sharon Osbourne moves forward after Ozzy's passing

Sharon Osbourne has made the difficult decision to divide her time between her UK residence and a new Los Angeles apartment, planning to spend at least half the year on the West Coast. This significant life change follows the passing of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who died of heart failure on July 22, 2026. Ozzy is interred at their Buckinghamshire estate, Welders House, the property the couple purchased in 1993. Sharon's desire to be closer to their children—Aimee, Jack, and Kelly—and her five grandchildren in Los Angeles is a key factor in her decision.

Ozzy, the iconic Black Sabbath frontman, had always expressed a wish to return to England to die. Preparations for his return included extensive renovations at their UK home, featuring a rehabilitation wing and enhanced security. The couple was reportedly working on a reality series, 'Home To Roost,' documenting their planned return to the UK in 2024. However, his health declined, leading them to return earlier in the summer of 2026, just in time for his final concert with Black Sabbath at Birmingham's Villa Park stadium.
