Sharon Osbourne has decided to split her time between her UK residence and a new apartment in Los Angeles, planning to spend at least half of each year in the US. This decision follows the death of her husband, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away from heart failure on July 22, 2026. Ozzy Osbourne is buried on the grounds of their Buckinghamshire estate.
Sharon, 72, reportedly wishes to be closer to her three children and five grandchildren, all of whom reside in Los Angeles. Insiders suggest this part-time move could eventually become permanent within a couple of years. The couple had previously lived in Los Angeles for twenty years and were the subjects of their reality show, 'The Osbournes'.
Ozzy Osbourne had expressed a desire to die in England, leading to extensive renovations on their UK home to accommodate his failing health. These included a rehabilitation wing and accommodation for a live-in carer. The couple had planned to document their return to the UK in a reality series, 'Home to Roost', but Ozzy's health prevented their earlier return.
