Shannen Doherty's Estate Battles Ex-Husband in Court
27 Nov
Summary
- Estate claims ex-husband owes money from divorce settlement.
- Ex-husband allegedly failed to sell Texas home as agreed.
- Art and airplane-related funds also part of dispute.

The estate of the late actress Shannen Doherty has initiated legal proceedings against her ex-husband, Kurt Iswarienko, alleging he has failed to fulfill financial obligations outlined in their divorce settlement. Court documents filed by the estate's trustee state that Iswarienko has not listed a property in Dripping Springs, Texas, which was to be sold and the proceeds split with Doherty. This property is valued at approximately $1.5 million.
The estate also claims Iswarienko has not provided a list of his artwork nor returned items belonging to Doherty. Furthermore, he is accused of not paying the estate its agreed-upon share of licensing fees from his photography work. A separate dispute involves funds from the sale of a hangar and Iswarienko's buyout of Doherty's interest in a Mooney M-20 airplane, totaling over $50,000.
Doherty, who passed away in July after a battle with cancer, had finalized her divorce settlement in her final days. The agreement primarily awarded her assets like her Malibu mansion, furniture, and various vehicles, while Iswarienko received assets including a plane and his business interests. The estate is now seeking to enforce these terms and recover the owed funds.
