Singer Shalmali Kholgade, known for popular Bollywood tracks, is embarking on a new artistic journey through independent music. She expresses gratitude for her past work, acknowledging that songs like 'Balam Pichkari' and 'Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai' hold special places in people's celebrations.
Kholgade emphasizes that her foray into independent music is not a departure from Bollywood but rather an expansion of her artistry. She retains fond memories of playback singing, appreciating the lessons learned from contributing to various stories. Now, with her independent music, the narrative originates from her, encompassing everything from lyrics to visual concepts.
This shift offers her creative control and a sense of ownership, a crucial aspect she hopes will inspire more women in the industry.
