Maddock's Horror-Comedy Universe Expands with 'Shakti Shalini'

'Thamma', Maddock's previous release, which premiered last month, has set the stage for 'Shakti Shalini'. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, explored the mythological origins of the Baitals - vampire-like creatures who are guardians of mankind, not monsters of destruction. As the story progressed, it hinted at the rise of dark powers, represented by the antagonist Yakshasan, and the need for a greater force to restore balance.

This very force could be embodied by 'Shakti Shalini', the upcoming film. Experts believe that the new protagonist, likely a reincarnation, protector, or mortal channeling divine energy, will be the counterbalance to the evil forces unleashed in 'Thamma'. With Goddess Kali and the concept of Shakti, or feminine power, at its core, 'Shakti Shalini' is poised to be Maddock's most ambitious female-driven story yet, taking on the mantle of evil head-on.
