Filmmaker K.C. Bokadia recently shared a heartwarming anecdote about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's immense generosity. While filming 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam', Khan agreed to work for Rs 1 crore for 20 days. However, he later privately informed Bokadia's son that he would not accept any payment for his role.
Khan explained his decision stemmed from not wanting to burden the producer financially, suggesting he could earn the fee elsewhere. He famously stated, "Bokadia Sahab, you aren't forcing this on me; it comes straight from my heart." This offer was made years before Khan's global superstardom.
Further illustrating his support, Khan later offered Bokadia five days of free shooting for any future film. Bokadia also touched upon the professional rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan during the film's production, noting it caused delays but did not impact their on-set conduct.
