Shagun Sharma recently addressed lingering controversy surrounding her relationship with Gaurav Khanna, which emerged during their participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Sharma utilized Instagram Stories to clarify previous remarks, asserting that her comments on the show should not be construed as harboring animosity towards Khanna.

During interviews, Sharma had previously expressed feeling bullied by Khanna. The subject re-emerged when host Rohit Shetty posed a 'Kill, Marry, Date' question. Sharma's selection of 'kill' for Khanna drew criticism on social media.

Responding to the discussions, Sharma explained her answer was instinctive to the question asked, but stressed it did not indicate she viewed Khanna as a bad person or hated him. She further clarified that her comments on 'bullying' were not meant in a serious way that would warrant claims of hatred.

Sharma asked fans to consider the context of the show, where participants were under pressure. She reiterated that her statements were based on her feelings during the competition and requested that the matter be put to rest as it was old news.

In a separate clarification, Sharma had also addressed the show's editing concerning her 'not getting footage' remark. She explained that a discussion about avoiding the 'Fear Funda' task, based on industry experience and potential for screen time, was incompletely telecast. Sharma stated that partial conversations can create misinterpretations and had previously informed the show's team to either air full context or omit such segments.
