Seventeen members DK and Seungkwan have ventured into a more serious artistic expression with their new duet, "Blue." The vocalists shared behind-the-scenes insights into filming the music video's "Epilogue Version," describing it as a meaningful and freeing experience that allowed them to display new facets of their artistry. DK noted the challenge of embodying a character different from his usual jovial self, while Seungkwan highlighted the pursuit of conveying a subtle yet deep emotional arc.

Despite the solemn mood required for the ballad, which explores themes of "a love moving at different paces," the duo found moments of lightheartedness. Their long-standing friendship of over ten years led to instances of embarrassment and laughter during filming, particularly when trying to maintain serious eye contact.
