A new adaptation of Agatha Christie's "The Seven Dials" is set to premiere on January 15, promising a fresh take on a classic murder mystery. The trailer reveals a suspenseful narrative set in 1920s London, focusing on Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent, portrayed by Mia McKenna-Bruce. Bundle embarks on a perilous investigation into the death of her friend, Gerry Wade.
The mystery begins when Gerry is found dead the morning after a lavish party, with an unusual detail of seven alarm clocks ringing. Undeterred by the dangers and societal expectations of 1925, Bundle vows to uncover the truth, supported by her friends Ronnie Devereux and Jimmy Thesiger.
Superintendent Battle, played by Martin Freeman, warns Bundle of the treacherous nature of the "Seven Dials." Despite the grave warnings, McKenna-Bruce emphasizes her character's tenacity, stating, "If you tell Bundle no, she's just going to find another way to do it." The adaptation aims to make Christie's work accessible to new audiences while retaining the core of her murder mysteries.
