Seth Rogen has publicly stated that he has had no contact with James Franco for an extended period and does not anticipate working with him in the future. This clarification follows allegations of sexual misconduct made against Franco in 2018.

Rogen explained that the situation is deeply personal and nuanced, opting not to delve into excessive detail. He reiterated that his public stance has remained consistent, emphasizing their lack of professional collaboration for several years. He confirmed he has not spoken to Franco recently.

The pair, once a prominent Hollywood duo, first collaborated on the series "Freaks and Geeks" in 1999. They went on to star together in successful films like "Knocked Up," "Pineapple Express," and "This Is the End."

Franco's career was significantly impacted in 2018 after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct. A class-action lawsuit filed in 2019, alleging inappropriate behavior towards female students, was settled by Franco in 2021 for $2.23 million.
