- His family donated newspaper cuttings, exam papers, and photographs to the university.

The family of Kasabian's Sergio Pizzorno has honored his grandfather, Wilf Dillon, by donating a collection of his personal items to the University of Leicester's archive. Dillon, who was elected student union president in 1971 at the age of 50, had enrolled in a politics course three years prior after selling his family's hosiery business.
His daughter, Pat Pizzorno, Sergio's mother, contributed newspaper clippings, exam papers, and photographs, describing her father's archive as a window into an "everyday man who lived an extraordinary life." Wilf Dillon's legacy as a student leader and a remarkable individual is now preserved for future generations.
Dillon, who passed away in 2017 at 95, was also remembered by friend Esuantsiwa Jane Goldsmith, who noted his diverse interests, including opera, football, and sports. He was also featured on Kasabian's album 48:13, and Sergio once wore a tribute t-shirt to him at Glastonbury.
