The Legacy of Home Gala, scheduled for November 12 at Los Angeles' Radford Studios, will celebrate A Sense of Home co-founders Georgie Smith and Melissa Goddard. As they step back from day-to-day operations in 2027, CEO Rachel Stich will lead the organization, guided by their vision. The gala supports the nonprofit's mission of preventing homelessness for youth aging out of foster care.
This year's event will also recognize ASOH board member Drew Scott and program recipient Regina Brodell with the inaugural Founders Awards. The organization has also been active in disaster relief, assisting 1,000 families after the 2025 L.A. wildfires. Furthermore, A Sense of Home recently launched its New York City chapter, extending its support to more youth and families.
Notable figures like Karen Pittman will serve as emcee, with a host committee including Jennifer Garner, Tobey Maguire, and many others, underscoring the broad support for A Sense of Home's impactful work in fostering stable homes and communities for vulnerable youth.
