Selma Blair's Son Plans to Dress as Hugh Hefner for Halloween

Selma Blair, the 53-year-old actress, has been reminiscing about her 14-year-old son Arthur's past Halloween costumes. On October 30th, 2025, Blair shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showcasing her son's previous spooky and creative outfits, including Deadpool, a skeleton, an army man, and a police officer.

In her caption, Blair revealed that her son already has his costume picked out for this year's holiday. "It's Halloween 🎃 time. And I figured a #throwbackthursday was the thing," Blair wrote. "This year he plans to go as Hugh Hefner. Oh my. Times have changed here. 👻."

Blair has been open about the challenges of raising her son as a single parent while managing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, which she received in 2018. In February 2025, she spoke with Today about how her condition has impacted her family life, particularly her fatigue. "I think since I had him I'd been afflicted with MS, and I didn't know [because] I was diagnosed later," Blair said. "My fatigue was always the main issue and as any parent knows, especially a single parent, there's no room for extra fatigue."
