Actress Selma Blair Faces Assault Charges After JFK Incident

Actress Selma Blair was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport on suspicion of assaulting a Port Authority police officer and a nurse. The incident reportedly occurred on Delta Flight 938 from Los Angeles, where she is accused of physically attacking crew members and law enforcement.

Blair's boyfriend, Andy Kiernan, has publicly requested prayers and compassion for the actress, suggesting she has not received the necessary help. He highlighted her humanity and alluded to her son, Arthur Saint Bleick.

During her arraignment, Blair's lawyer attributed her alleged actions to missing doses of a "powerful" medication for neurological symptoms, combined with exhaustion and head trauma sustained on the flight. This resulted in severe confusion and disorientation, according to the defense.

Police confirmed Blair was taken to a hospital for evaluation. She is scheduled to appear in court again in January 2027. The FBI has also issued a separate summons to the actress.
