The 2026 edition of the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal is gearing up for a star-studded event, featuring legendary comedians Jerry Seinfeld and "Weird Al" Yankovic. Seinfeld, who first performed at the festival in 1989, will take the stage on July 23 for his solo show, Jerry Seinfeld Live, at the Place des Arts.
Following Seinfeld, "Weird Al" Yankovic, a 1990 JFL alum, will present his Bigger and Weirder Tour as a free outdoor performance on July 25 in the Place des Festivals. Organizers have also revealed initial hosts for the twice-nightly galas, including popular acts like Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias and Mike Birbiglia.
Festival programming vice president Nick Brazao expressed excitement, stating that the initial lineup offers a glimpse of the "world-class caliber" of performers expected. Further announcements regarding the industry conference, awards, and the complete festival schedule are anticipated in the coming weeks.
