Summary
- Sebastian Maniscalco's impersonation by Marcello Hernández went viral.
- Maniscalco finds the SNL spoof flattering but regrets not hosting.
- Harry Styles surprisingly joined the impersonation sketch on SNL.
Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco has seen his popularity surge, even becoming the subject of impersonations on Saturday Night Live. A recurring impression by cast member Marcello Hernández, with a notable appearance by Harry Styles, has gained significant attention. Maniscalco recently shared his thoughts on the spoofs during an interview, describing the experience as flattering.
However, the comedian also voiced his surprise and a touch of disappointment about not having been invited to host SNL himself, a significant career milestone. The involvement of global superstar Harry Styles in the sketch alongside Hernández was particularly unexpected for Maniscalco, who even suggested Styles might not have known who he was impersonating.
Despite Maniscalco's speculation, it's highly probable that Styles was aware of the comedian's work, given the sketch's successful and accurate portrayal. This impersonation highlights Maniscalco's growing fame, extending beyond comedy circles to major music artists. His stand-up special, 'It Ain't Right,' is available on Hulu, and SNL episodes featuring the impression can be streamed on Peacock.
