Chacon Sexual Assault Case Dismissed

The sexual assault civil suit filed against actor Sebastian Chacon has been dismissed with prejudice by the Supreme Court of New York. This ruling, stemming from a stipulation of discontinuance signed by plaintiffs and the defendant in November, means the case cannot be brought again. Chacon, who gained recognition for his role in Prime's 'Daisy Jones & the Six,' expressed relief that the legal matter is permanently closed. He stated that there was never a criminal case and he never admitted to any wrongdoing, emphasizing the damaging nature of the civil process. The lawsuit, initiated in November 2023, alleged sexual, emotional, and physical abuse by Chacon. While two accusers claimed relationships with him, a third plaintiff alleged sexual assault in his home when she was a minor. Following these allegations, Chacon faced professional repercussions, including being dropped by his agency and losing a movie role.
