Scrubs Returns: Mixed Reviews for New Season

Sixteen years after its controversial ninth season, the TV show "Scrubs" is set to return with a revival premiering on Wednesday, February 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. This new iteration, sometimes referred to as "Scrubs 2.0," aims to recapture the magic of the original series. Initial reviews suggest a largely positive reception, with many critics commending the original cast for slipping back into their roles seamlessly.

However, the reception is not universally enthusiastic. Some critics have pointed out that while the familiar faces shine, the newer cast members face challenges in standing out. Critiques range from the revival being labeled 'millennial cringe' to an 'imperfect revival' that struggles with humor in today's social climate. Despite these mixed reactions, the nine-episode first season is poised to offer fans a new chapter in the Sacred Heart story, with original seasons available on Hulu.
