Summary
- Scrubs revival set to premiere in 2026 on ABC and Hulu.
- Series ignores unpopular ninth season, returns to roots.
- Original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke return.
The hit medical comedy Scrubs is slated for a revival, scheduled to premiere on ABC and stream on Hulu in 2026. This new installment aims to rectify the missteps of the show's ninth season by returning to the beloved characters and comedic style of its first eight seasons. The revival will directly follow the emotional conclusion of the Season 8 finale, which was initially conceived as the series' end.
Original stars Zach Braff (J.D.), Donald Faison (Turk), and Sarah Chalke (Elliot) are returning as series regulars, ensuring a familiar dynamic. While Judy Reyes (Carla) and John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox) will be recurring guests, the focus remains on the core trio. The revival promises to recapture the humor and heart that made Scrubs a fan favorite, bringing back fan-favorite characters like The Todd as well. Scrubs is set to air on February 25, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
