In an emotional Instagram post on Friday, she detailed the events, attributing her breakdown to stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens, and prescription medications. Kelley extended a sincere apology to her estranged husband, Scott Wolf, and their three children, Jackson, Miller, and Lucy.

Scott Wolf publicly acknowledged Kelley's statement, offering his support. This comes after a period of public difficulty, including Kelley's arrest in August for harassment and subsequent claims made against Scott. Kelley later admitted that her public statements during that time were not based in truth or reality.
