The beloved co-op beat-'em-up series is expanding with Scott Pilgrim EX, slated for release on March 3rd. This new installment will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Tribute Games, the developer and publisher, unveiled the release date through a new trailer. This trailer also introduced two new playable characters: Matthew Patel, a member of the League of Evil Exes, and Robot-01, a mechanical creation by the Katayanagi Twins. One additional fighter is expected to be revealed soon.
The game features an original storyline developed in collaboration with Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley. The plot unfolds in Toronto, where Scott and Ramona Flowers must rescue Scott's bandmates from Sex Bob-omb, who have been kidnapped by descending demons. Helping them in this endeavor are unexpected allies. Anamanaguchi, known for their work on the previous game's soundtrack, is composing new music for Scott Pilgrim EX.
