The series will depart from the real-life events that inspired its debut season.
Production for 'Scoop' Season 2 is currently in the pre-production and casting phases. Filming is reportedly scheduled to commence around February 2027. This marks a strategic evolution for the franchise, allowing for exploration of various aspects within the media landscape.
The first season, which premiered in June 2023, was loosely based on crime journalist Jigna Vora's memoir. It fictionalized her account, centering on a character named Jagruti Pathak.
