The science fiction romance film "My Notes on Mars," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lili Horvát, has secured a raft of pre-sales globally. The film, currently in post-production, stars Mackenzie Davis and Rupert Friend.
"My Notes on Mars" centers on Margot, a scientist who disappears while hiking, only to reappear weeks later with no memory of her life except her Mars research. Her husband, Sam, accepts her return as a second chance for their relationship.
The movie has been pre-sold to distributors in Germany, Austria, Spain, Benelux, Portugal, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, and Hungary, among others. It was filmed in Budapest, Hungary, and Salzburg, Austria.
Horvát is known for her critically acclaimed films "Preparations to Be Together for an Unknown Period of Time" and "The Wednesday Child." The production boasts an extensive list of producers and has received support from national film institutes in Hungary and Austria, as well as TRT Cinema and the Film Centre of Montenegro.
