Scarlett Johansson: Dance Recital Over Cannes Ovation!

Scarlett Johansson opted to attend her daughter Rose's dance recital instead of the Cannes Film Festival premiere of "Paper Tiger." The actress, who was filming "The Exorcist" in New York at the time, explained in a recent interview that she missed a call from director James Gray while at the event for her 12-year-old.

Johansson humorously recounted seeing the missed call after the recital, lamenting the lack of prior notification. Her co-star Adam Driver corroborated that the situation was impromptu. Johansson, a mother of two, also shares son Cosmo with husband Colin Jost.

She previously spoke about balancing work and family, crediting babysitters for help and emphasizing the importance of routine for her young children. Johansson acknowledged the inherent guilt in balancing demanding careers with parenting responsibilities, highlighting communication and shared duties as key strategies.
