Diaz specifically mentioned his close friendship with Katie Lowes, who played Quinn Perkins, and noted regular encounters with other castmates like Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn around Hollywood. These reunions often involve planning get-togethers outside the industry's demands.

Beyond the prospect of a Scandal movie, Diaz, who recently directed "Dear Luke, Love, Me," is committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
