The announcement was made shortly after the couple's secret wedding, which took place on July 14 at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church.

Her husband, Jason Galanis, 56, a businessman previously sentenced to 189 months in prison for securities fraud schemes, had his sentence commuted in March 2025. This commutation, along with pardons for Chrisley's parents, occurred prior to the pregnancy announcement.

Despite facing criticism and online hate, Chrisley emphasized her strong faith and commitment to raising her son in love and light. She stated that "hate will never have the final word," affirming that love always prevails.
