17 Feb
Summary
- Savannah Chrisley guest hosts 'The View' from February 17-20.
- Her appearance follows criticism of hosts' past comments on her parents' pardon.
- Internet reactions are largely negative, with many vowing to skip episodes.
Savannah Chrisley is stepping in as a guest host for 'The View,' with her appearances scheduled from February 17 to 20. She is filling in for cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin, who is on maternity leave following the birth of her son, Justin Patrick Griffin Jr., on February 10. Chrisley's guest stint has already ignited significant controversy online, with many viewers expressing their disapproval and stating they will not be watching this week's episodes.
The public's negative reaction appears to be linked to past comments made by some of 'The View' hosts regarding the presidential pardon of Chrisley's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. The reality TV stars were convicted of financial crimes, including defrauding banks and evading taxes. Following their pardon in May 2025, several 'The View' personalities, including Joy Behar and Ana Navarro, publicly criticized the decision. Chrisley has stated that hosting 'The View' is a departure from her comfort zone but is something she is doing because it challenges and educates her.
