Saurabh Shukla: Judge role almost rejected!

Actor Saurabh Shukla, renowned for his portrayal of Judge Sunderlal Tripathi in the Jolly LLB series, shared that he initially hesitated to accept the role. He confessed to Subhash Kapoor, the director, that he preferred any character over the judge, finding the role too conventional at the time. However, after hearing the script, Shukla was so convinced that he committed to the part without reservation.

Shukla also highlighted the continued significance of television premieres in the current era of streaming services. He explained that while theaters and OTT platforms have limitations in reach and viewing experience, TV premieres allow films to connect with a broader audience, including families and those in areas with less theater penetration.
