"SATC" Star Bridget Moynahan Dishes on Chris Noth's Forgetfulness
7 Oct
Summary
- Bridget Moynahan was a recurring guest star on "Sex and the City"
- Chris Noth, who played Mr. Big, frequently forgot Moynahan was his on-screen wife
- Kristin Davis felt bad for not being more welcoming to Moynahan on set

According to a recent podcast interview, "Sex and the City" star Bridget Moynahan had an interesting experience filming the hit HBO series. Moynahan, who played Natasha, the second wife of Mr. Big (Chris Noth), revealed that Noth would often forget who she was, even though she was his on-screen spouse.
"Every time Chris Noth would be like, 'Hi, nice to meet you,'" Moynahan recalled, "I was like, 'Dude, I'm your wife.'" Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York, found this hilarious, saying it was "classic" of Noth to repeatedly forget his TV wife.
Moynahan also shared that it was only after she left the show that Noth finally remembered her name and character. "Years later we'd bump into each other in California. He's like, 'And there's my wife.' I'm like, 'You couldn't remember I was your wife when I was your wife. Now I'm not your wife,'" she joked.
Davis, meanwhile, confessed that she felt bad about not being more welcoming to Moynahan on set, as her character Charlotte had a negative view of Natasha. "I don't think I was that nice to you," Davis admitted, noting that her allegiance to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) as one of her best friends spilled over into her interactions with Moynahan. Moynahan, however, was understanding of the situation.
Despite the initial chilly reception, Moynahan and Davis have since reconciled, with Davis expressing regret over her past behavior and Moynahan graciously accepting her apology.
