Summary
- Plaque honoring Sarah Ferguson removed from London hospital.
- Removal linked to her past associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
- Ferguson has distanced herself from public life recently.

A plaque honoring Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been removed from a local children's hospital in London. This development comes after the former Duchess of York withdrew from public life, stemming from her past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The honor was displayed near the Great Ormond Street Hospital, leaving an outline and two holes in the brick wall. The plaque had commemorated Ferguson's opening of a "Homes from Home" location in 1990, a program by The Sick Children's Trust that offers housing for families with children undergoing hospital treatment.
Ferguson was previously removed as patron of several charities in September 2025 due to her links with Epstein. More recently, in February 2026, her charity Sarah's Trust announced its closure following the release of emails showing communication with Epstein. Ferguson has maintained a low profile since.
She has recently refuted rumors of a seven-figure book deal intended to "rescue her reputation," with a spokesperson stating there have been no discussions about a personal memoir. Ferguson has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
