The user questioned her choice to marry outside her faith, stating, "So, in the whole world, you only found a Hindu to marry?" and suggesting she remove 'Khan' from her name.

Khan expressed her dismay at such negativity, responding with sarcasm but emphasizing her call against online hate. The couple, who dated for a significant period, wed according to both Hindu and Muslim traditions to honor each other's religions. This marriage followed her previous divorce from Ali Merchant.
