The evening also featured the doyenne of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana, Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande. She delivered the bandish "Sakala Dukha Harana Sadanand" with impeccable accuracy.
Bhide-Deshpande explained that the bandish speaks to Nirguni, a formless divinity, with Sadanand representing eternal bliss.
